The franchised Trademark by Wyndham location in Camp Hill , PA is seeking a Hotel Bookkeeper (Franchise) to join its team at the Penn Harris Hotel and Convention Center.

The Role

This position will oversee the hotel's financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. They will perform daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments.

What you'll do

  • Review, process and post daily hotel revenue for accuracy
  • Organize, secure and maintain all files, records, cash in accordance with hotel policies and procedures
  • Classify, code and summarize financial data
  • Complete month end closing procedures including monthly taxes for state and county
  • Prepare, review and issue bills, invoices, and account statements
  • Prepare, maintain and administer all cashier banks and contracts in addition to acting on all cash discrepancies

You'll be successful if you have

  • 3 to 4 years of hotel accounting experience
