The franchised Trademark by Wyndham location in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania is seeking a Executive Chef (Franchise) to join its team at the Penn Harris Hotel and Convention Center.

The Role

The Executive Chef will oversee all culinary operations within the hotel, encompassing the restaurant, banquet services and special events. This position is responsible for driving excellence in food quality, innovative banquet menu development and efficient kitchen management for two kitchens.

What you'll do

  • Oversee all food preparation and production for the restaurant, banquets and events.
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, presentation and taste exceeds standards
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation and hygiene standards.
  • Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate kitchen staff to improve standards.
  • Develop and manage budgets

You'll be successful if you have

  • Strong knowledge of banquet production and a la carte restaurant service
  • Proven hands-on leadership skills along with an understanding of food costing, inventory control and budgets.
  • The ability to work under pressure

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Minimum of three to five years of progressive culinary experience, including 2+ years in an Executive Chef or similar leadership role, preferably in a full service hotel.
  • ServSafe certified
  • Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
