The Role
The Corporate Sales Manager at the iconic Penn Harris Hotel is a key position focused on driving corporate and association business and maximizing revenue from those accounts. This role involves developing strategic partnerships, managing client relationships, and leading initiatives to enhance the hotel’s appeal to corporate and association clients.
What you'll do
- Corporate Sales Strategy: Develop and execute targeted sales strategies aimed at attracting and retaining corporate clients, including meetings, events, and accommodations.
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key corporate accounts and decision-makers to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify corporate trends, competitor activities, and client needs, using insights to inform sales initiatives.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze sales metrics to evaluate success against targets, providing regular reports and updates to management.
- Networking: Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote the hotel and expand the corporate client base.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to create tailored packages and offerings that meet the needs of corporate clients, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
- Lead Generation: Identify new business opportunities through proactive outreach and follow-up with potential corporate clients.
You'll be successful if you have
- Proven Track Record: Meeting or exceeding sales targets within corporate accounts.
- Strong Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on relationship building.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in sales software and CRM tools.
Required Qualifications/Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of corporate sales experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel setting.
